Water Research Commission Project K5/2264: Current and future impacts of alien plant infestations on water temperatures, and freshwater biodiversity

Project team:  Dr Helen Dallas (FRC), Dr Jaco Barendse (NMMU), Dr Dirk Roux (SANParks), Mr Nicholas Cole (SANParks), Dr Ferdie de Moor (Albany Museum) 

This project aimed to Improve the scientific basis for quantifying impacts of alien riparian vegetation on water quality, in particular water temperature an aquatic macroinvertebrate diversity.  It wasbeing undertaken in the Southern Cape region of South Africa.

A final report has been published by the WRC.
